Scalable Brand Transformation: The Cognizant Workday Practice

The Challenge
Following the acquisition of Collaborative Solutions by Cognizant Technologies, the legacy brand identity was retired to make way for the Cognizant Workday practice. I was tasked with lead design for a massive brand migration: converting all existing collateral to Cognizant’s global standards within a strict twelve-month window.

The Creative Solution
I established a streamlined production workflow in partnership with the content strategy team to ensure both visual and linguistic consistency.

  • Systems Design: I developed a suite of master Adobe InDesign templates to ensure 100% brand alignment across all 51 documents.

  • Visual Synthesis: To bridge the gap between the legacy "people-first" brand and Cognizant's "tech-forward" identity, I curated a library of photography that blended human-centric shots with AI-generated abstract textures. This created a sophisticated, high-tech aesthetic that remained grounded in human connection.

The Result
By November 2024, the project was completed ahead of schedule.

  • Volume: 51 redesigned, rewritten, and approved datasheets.

  • Utility: The new collateral was immediately deployed for global RFPs, website lead generation, and high-stakes sales events.

  • Efficiency: The template-driven approach allowed for a 20% faster turnaround on late-stage revisions, ensuring the deadline was met without compromising Cognizant’s rigorous brand standards.
